MMGD (Modular–Multiplicative Generative Drawing) is a finite discrete dynamical system coupled with a geometric drawing procedure.
The system begins with a finite sequence of digits from 1 to 9. At each step, the current state is multiplied by a periodically referenced element of the sequence, and the last nonzero decimal digit of the product becomes the next state. This process generates a finite orbit that eventually enters a periodic cycle.
The numerical orbit is accompanied by a geometric construction. Each step is translated into a local geometric event, and the accumulation of these events forms a curve.
MMGD is studied through the relation between these two layers: finite numerical dynamics and geometric realization. The following pages introduce the current formulation of the system and the questions that guide the ongoing research.

MMGD(Modular–Multiplicative Generative Drawing)は、有限離散力学系と幾何的な描画手続きを組み合わせたシステムである。
系は1から9までの数字からなる有限列を持つ。各ステップでは、現在状態と周期的に参照される列の要素を乗算し、その積の最後の非零桁を次状態とする。この過程は有限軌道を生成し、最終的に周期軌道へ入る。
数値軌道には対応する幾何構成が与えられる。各ステップは局所的な幾何構成へ変換され、それらの蓄積によって曲線が形成される。
MMGDでは、この二つの層――有限な数値力学とその幾何実現――の関係を研究している。以下では、現在のシステムの構成と、それに基づく研究課題を紹介する。
